We were commissioned to construct a new accommodation building and renovate an existing 26-room hotel in Kriopigi, Halkidiki, creating a contemporary boutique hotel designed to meet modern hospitality standards.

The project was developed to respond to the evolving demands of the hospitality sector, combining high energy performance, operational efficiency, and contemporary architectural design.

The project presented several technical challenges, including:
‣ delivering the project within a demanding construction schedule without compromising quality
‣ achieving high energy performance standards
‣ ensuring long-term durability while responding to the site's environmental conditions
‣ creating operational layouts that support the hotel's day-to-day functionality

To address these requirements, a hybrid steel structural system was selected, providing:
‣ reduced construction time through prefabricated structural elements
‣ optimised construction costs
‣ enhanced structural performance and seismic resistance
​
In parallel, high-performance insulation systems and advanced building materials were incorporated, enabling the project to achieve Energy Class A certification. Interior spaces were designed using drywall systems to maximise flexibility and visual consistency, while all MEP installations and back-of-house areas were planned around operational efficiency, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel.
